Gluten free cookies really taste good? GlowGlutenFree review
On first impression, the business is run professionally, but with a flair for fun, if their packing is any indication. The 4 individual cookie boxes were inside a seasonally appropriate orange bag along with a personally written note from Jill, the owner of Glow Gluten Free. Around the bag was a double roll of bubble wrap – all packed inside a sturdy cardboard box.
Each cookie box is somewhat like a Chinese take-out box, but with a rounder bottom and they are much more sturdy. Each flavor has a different color accent on the top and bottom along with the product information and a color photo.
They all state that they are gluten free, dairy free and trans fat free.
The first box opened was the Double chocolate chip and the testers all agreed that they were good. “Just as good as regular cookies!” Katlin – Andover, KS
The Gingersnaps and Snikerdoodles went to work the next day and two men agreed that they tasted no different than any other good cookies they had ever had. One man did indicate he thought there was a little too much sugar dust on the outside of the cookies, but otherwise they tasted great and he did eat 2 or 3 total. “At first, I thought the ginger wasn’t going to be very strong but after a couple bites, the taste was lingering in my mouth even after I was done eating. It was great!” Austin – Clearwater, KS
Chocolate chip cookies are best hot out of the oven, but these are the next best thing and the box of 7 is now empty even though this box wasn’t shared with the other reviewers.
All praises aside, the one complaint by all who ate the cookies from Glow Gluten Free was that they crumbled and there were lots of crumbs. If you don’t mind cookie dust on your hands and having to wipe off the table, then by all means, get yourself some of these.
