Freschetta Simply Inspired Pizza give away

I received a coupon from the makers of FRESCHETTA® Simply…Inspired™ to buy one Simply Inspired Pizza from Freschetta, and I have one for you too! Well, if you win. Check out my experience with the pizza and then read the rules for contest entry.

So, I went directly to our grocery store and found the frozen pizza section. I have to admit I hadn’t read much about the new line before I practically broke down the door in my haste to get to the store, so I was a bit surprised to find that these pizzas are thin crust. Sigh……

Thin isn’t my favorite, but I figured my mom would be stoked since she loves thin pizza.

Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised to find a variety of flavors at my local grocery and promptly picked out two. Yep, I only got 1 coupon for 1 free pizza, so these looked yummy enough that I bought another one to try!

There are eight flavors right now with a couple marked as limited edition. Sorry, I was too hungry to see how many flavors were in the grocer’s freezer. I grabbed Chicken Bianco and Southern BBQ Recipe Chicken.

Whoa! This packaging is funky too, but it’s actually kinda cool. It sits flat in the freezer and isn’t as thick as most of the other boxed styles of pizza. Score one for the freezer space (or lack thereof).

Freschetta is apparently trying to reduce their carbon footprint and simply improve space for us moms who don’t want to take the trash out 3 times a day! The FRESCH TASTE SEAL allows a fully packed flavor with 30% less packaging.

So, how’d it taste? Yummo! The BBQ was sweet, but not too sweet and the Chicken Bianco was mild but fresh and the chunks of veggies were oh so refreshing! I always order tomatoes on my pizzas and love it when they are large pieces. That’s what these pizzas offered too. It’s not that micro sized bits of meat and veggies that you are used to on your pizza.

My only complaint is that they are small. You definitely want a side with these pizzas. Eat some salad or pasta with it if you want to be filled up.

We received 5 flavors of the light soups from Progresso to try out. Rather than just eating soup, we tried a couple of flavors combined with other foods to make casserole and pasta.
