Do you have a question? I have lots of them. All day long but often there is no one who knows the answer. So, finding Questions and Answers at Question Bin was kinda cool for me.

Yeah ther is some crap to wade through, but how about this question for starters?

Is the olecranon process of the humerus on the distal or proximal end of the humerus?

I had to laugh!

Of course, having just seen the vampire movie Eclipse, this one was funny for me too. What is the difference between full-moon day, new-moon day,solar eclipse and lunar eclipse?

If you like to use shaving cream or lotion to shave your legs, in a pinch, grab your hair conditioner and apply that to your legs. It will work just as well, and leave your legs soft and smooth when you’re done.

Tuesday’s Tip – how to snuf a candle

Use a snuffer to put out candles.
It may seem frou-frou, but putting out a candle with a snuffer, instead of blowing out the flame, keeps wax from getting all over the table or on the floor. You may have to seek out a pewter or candle store to find one, though. Or order online. Antiques stores often have decorative snuffers.

Alex says: you place the bell of the snuffer over the flame of the candle and it blocks out all the air to the flame – snuffing it. I think this method also helps cut down on the smoke from an extinguished flame, but don’t quote me on that.

Have travel sickness? Put a piece of scotch tape over your belly button and NO MORE car sickness. Seriously; try it – it works. Even if your laughing…it really works!

Have a fresh ink stain you want gone? Spray the fresh stain with hair spray then wash! That stain should come right out.

Today’s Tip – baking soda for the disposal

Does your sink stink? Pour baking soda down the drain and let set for about 15 minutes. Now, run hot water down the drain and turn on your garbage disposal for a minute!

Tired of soapy coffee? Instead of washing your coffee pot with soap and water, pour 1 tablespoon baking soda into your coffee pot and add water. Boil, empty, let dry.

Pour baking soda directly and liberally onto your cutting board. Plastic or wooden, doesn’t matter. Use a wet or damp sponge or cloth to scrub the soda into the board.

Did you know that you can use plain old baking soda to clean your teeth? Mix about 3 parts soda to 1 part water to make a paste. Mix in a little bowl, or even in the palm of your hand. Dip your brush in, brush your teeth and rinse as normal. Use the same mixture with more water to rinse with in order to also help freshen your breath.
