Cigar box purses unique and fun

The cigar box has long been a favorite of mine, but I haven’t figured out how to use it properly yet. It seems like an inconvenience to carry, without a shoulder strap and without compartments, it seems that things would just fall around inside the box.

That being said, I love the looks of these unique, hand made cigar box purses.

Charlotte's Web Covered Cigar Box Purse

Purselibrary – he classic cover of E.B. White’s “Charlotte’s Web” is the exterior top of this 8″ X 5″ X 2″ cigar box purse. Charlotte’s spider webs are on the exterior bottom and side. Inside the purse Charlotte’s special web messages that saved Wilbur’s life are highlighted: “Some Pig” and “Terrific”. The barnyard theme of the book inspired the metal handle decorations of farm animals, as well as another spider web.

Leopard Game Lark

A while back, I bought this game for my autistic daughter through an etsy shop of a woman I’m in a shopping group with. So far, we love it! Life is a Lark

Here’s what’s cool about it. It’s like an ipod touch without the electronic element. It doesn’t have to be charged and I don’t have to make sure it has batteries before we leave the house. With 10 different games, I don’t get bored easily although she doesn’t know how to play everything very well.

So, how’s it work? The lovely clear plastic window is where you stick in one of the 10 games that are actually printed on white paper. Then, you can use the crayon or marker to write on the plastic. My kiddo decided to add her own artwork to the paper though on a few of the cards.

On the other side of the fold up book style game pad is a soft fabric like chalkboard and a piece of chalk. Yep, it works. Can you say doodles?

The Game Lark is part of the Looney Lark series and provides the child with numerous opportunities to play by themselves or against others while having fun.

conclusion:For much  less than the cost of an Ipod touch, mom and kids will like this one.
