Scrubs for kids with autism?

scrubs for the family

Can wearing scrubs for kids with autism really be a good choice?

My 9 year old has autism. She can’t fasten buttons and can do zippers only on loose clothing, or something with a good structure like her coat. So, jeans are out of the question most of the time. However, wearing sweats for the rest of her life isn’t going to be the best option either.

Living With Fibromyalgia

Although, I personally, haven’t had to deal with this condition, I have heard from others I’ve met that have, that this is not always the easiest thing to live with. There seems to be a long list of symptoms that people living with this condition have to deal with on a daily basis. Some including… chronic muscle pain, leg cramps, dizziness, insomnia, feeling anxious or depressed & many more.

If you or someone you know may need more information on this condition or would like to meet an amazing woman & good friend of mine who lives with this, please do follow this link to her site where you will also find links to her blog as well as other helpful sites.

As always thank you for taking time to read this & I welcome your comments & if you happen to know of or have found ways to ease or deal with the daily symptoms please do share them so that others may find hope or help in their possible struggles with this condition.

Today’s Tip – baking soda for teeth

Did you know that you can use plain old baking soda to clean your teeth? Mix about 3 parts soda to 1 part water to make a paste.  Mix in a little bowl, or even in the palm of your hand.  Dip your brush in, brush your teeth and rinse as normal.  Use the same mixture with more water to rinse with in order to also help freshen your breath.
