So, choosing a business topic is the most important thing you can do. I’ve chosen a few over the years and all of them have been because of my passion for the overall topic, not just because I thought I could make money at it.  Making money is pretty important, but being able to stick to it, and liking what you do everyday is what just might determine how well you do! When you work from home, it’s important to choose a niche that suits your passions.  Working in any niche can be more challenging when you don’t like what you’re doing. But when you love what you’re doing, you wake up in the mornings with the energy and the enthusiasm to get to work.

Take a few minutes and consider which niches might fit with your passions. If you’re not sure what your passions are, imagine you have a whole day to yourself. What do you spend it doing?

Would you spend it perfecting new recipes? Exploring your city? Writing movie reviews? If you’re still having trouble, look at your existing hobbies. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? What do you spend your money on?

Taking a moment to consider what you love doing will help you decide which business topic might be the best fit for you. Or maybe you recently discovered something else that you’re passionate about.

Now, what do you do? Begin reading and researching. Fully immerse yourself in your chosen business topics.

• Sign up for every email list that you can.
• Spend time browsing websites – both of experts and amateurs alike.
• Browse forums on the topic.
• Check out social groups on Facebook and Linked in (or other social media sites).

You have a list of possible business topics now, don’t you? If so, it’s time to trim that list. Par it down to your top three. These three should be your main choices – the niches you have the most interest in.

Don’t just go by income level (although you should consider that, too). Just remember when your business topics interests you, it shows to your customers and when you’re only in it for the profit you can make, that shows too. Choose a topic that you can earn an income in and gain personal satisfaction from.

Once you know which business topics are right for you, take a minute and ask yourself these questions:

• What’s not being covered?
• Which audiences are being ignored?
• Who are the rising stars on the horizon and how will they change the niche?
• How is that industry changing, or how has it changed recently?

Since you already have an interest in these niches, you’ll be better at getting consumers that other entrepreneurs are missing. It pays off in big ways to know the current issues and events in your niche.

Now that you’ve thought about the business topics that fit your passions, take a few days to research them more. Or, take a week per topic to do your research.

Here are some great suggestions for better rest and more life during your day.

A scheduled wake up time every day

Having a sleep plan depends on your waking plan. Studies show that  when you wake up at the same time every day, it’s easier to get to sleep at the same time every night. your body will naturally fall into a pattern after a few days. So, if you wake up at 7am every day and you need eight hours of sleep, your body will naturally release melatonin, the sleep chemical, at around 10:30 to help you go to sleep.

Set up your sleeping space for sucess

Is your bedroom set up to get you the best sleep possible? Are all the lights out, including computer screens, hall lights, and even outside yard lights? This helps cue your body to know it’s time to sleep.

How Exercise Improves Sleep

Exercise alters the chemistry of the brain. One reason for difficult sleep is that the body stores too much of the “sleep chemical” if you don’t get enough physical activity.  How does exercise really help you sleep? By expending energy, getting the heart rate up, removing toxins and getting more blood to the brain, your body. All you need is about twenty minutes of cardiovascular exercise, four days a week. Try it for two weeks to see if it improves your sleep.

Try those three things to get a better night’s rest and see if it doesn’t change how you feel and work every day.

So, what do you do with all that stuff? Are you ready to weed out and organize your home?

If yo u want your entire home to feel better – and look better, plan to take some time. Don’t over plan though, or it could take you much too long and the clutter could catch up with you. Have a family? Get their help. If they contribute to the mess, then they can pitch in too.

1. Start with the high traffic areas like the living room and kitchen. That’s where things usually get dumped – flat spaces like counters and tables especially. Concentrate on getting everything set up the way that you like it before moving on to another room.

2. Divide items into categories.  Use heavy duty trash bags. Pick a section of the room and start putting everything into a bag.

Throw away – If the item is damaged beyond usage, throw it away. All those papers you have laying around can be thrown out too.

Keep – Anything you want to keep and that stays in that room.

Give Away - Clothes or furniture still in great condition can be donated to Goodwill or listed on Freecycle or Craig’s list.

Relocate – Anything that definitely belongs in another room can be labeled for relocation when you get to that room.

3. Use storage containers. You don’t have to use boring old plastic storage tubs. There are a variety of pretty, fashionable baskets and boxes now that can match your room decor.

4. Remove everything from drawers and cabinets. This is a time-consuming process but it is easier to start with an empty space and fill it instead of simply pushing things around. If you line things up on the counter, someone else can help by putting the items in some type of order.

5. Use your space well. In the kitchen, If your cabinets don’t go all the way to the ceiling, then you can store appliance that dont’ get used often. Try cereal boxes on top of your fridge – unless that’s not good for your kids to reach. Think out of the box, and match your stuff to who needs access to it.

6. Label your containers. Mark the outside of containers with what’s inside.  Masking tape, sticky notes, sticky printer labels and a permanent marker will work great depending on the type of container you use. Avoid writing on the container in case you need to re-use it for something else later.

Organizing your entire house takes time, but once it’s done you’ll enjoy being in your space.
