There are so many great tasting Chex Party Mix recipes that you can make in the microwave in only 15 minutes! After getting my kit, I wen to the Chex site to browse the recipes and I was knocked out by all the ways this mix can be made. Talk about overload! They even have a gluten free section.

So, I picked two that sounded fairly easy and decided I’d try my own also. My kiddo went with me to my local Kroger (Dillons) to get the extras that it takes to make what we decided on.

We made Puppy Chow which is chocolate chips and powdered sugar mostly. Then we made a cheesy mix with cheese crackers and real shredded cheese, and then I threw together white chocolate and peppermint with pretzels for the last mix.

I wish I’d gotten photos of the kids pounding the crap out of the peppermints! They busted two baggies and left a trail of candy dust all over my table.

So, I took my treats to work with me the following day and my guy stole the cheese mix and took the bag home with him, while my step FIL ate most of the Puppy Chow and turned his nose up at the peppermint, telling me I ruined a pefectly good white chocolate.
